Welcome to the Children's Eternal Rainforest
The campaign was sparked by a group of Swedish primary school students in the late 1980s and quickly gained support from other schools, individuals and organisations from 44 different countries.

The "Eternal Forest of the Children" (Spanish: "Bosque Eterno de los Niños (BEN)") is located near the small town of Monteverde in the northwest of Costa Rica.
Your piece of land is located at Pocosol Station on the eastern edge of the forest.

There are numerous hiking trails around the Pocosol Station. The nature conservation organisation ACM, which looks after the rainforest, also offers guided tours. To the west of the Children's Rainforest is Monteverde.
It is known for its species-rich cloud forests. The famous Monteverde Reserve offers shelter to countless wildlife species, including the jaguar.
San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica, is located in the Valle Central region between the Talamanca mountain range in the south and volcanoes in the north. Characteristic for the city are the buildings in Spanish colonial style.
